A Unified SU(3) Parametrization of Charmonium Decays into Light Hadrons
A single symmetry-based bookkeeping scheme for how charmonium states decay into final states made only of light (u, d, s) quarks. Using SU(3) flavor symmetry and the flavor-singlet principle to decide which terms may appear in the effective interaction Hamiltonian, it treats two-body, three-body, and radiative decays in one framework, and extends earlier two-body schemes with a new symmetry-breaking term from the quark magnetic moment and with mixing between glueball-like scalar and pseudoscalar states.
