Assembly Mates

Mates (coincident, concentric, distance, angle, tangent) constrain the six rigid-body freedoms of each component relative to others; fully mating removes all six, while deliberately leaving one gives a hinge or slider its motion. Mates reference component geometry, so they inherit the same fragility as any topological reference.
