Association Between Serum Vitamin D and Metabolic Syndrome in Aboriginal Australians

A cross-sectional epidemiological analysis of national survey data finding that higher serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D is associated with lower odds of metabolic syndrome and smaller waist circumference among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, after adjusting for demographic, lifestyle, and seasonal confounders. The first investigation of this association in this population.
