At-Least-Once Delivery

The broker redelivers any message not acknowledged in time, guaranteeing no loss but permitting duplicates — an ack can be lost after successful processing. Exactly-once delivery over an unreliable network is unattainable; exactly-once *effect* is achieved by pairing at-least-once delivery with idempotent consumers.
