Broad-Sense Heritability H2 versus Narrow-Sense Heritability h2

One distinction, taught once. H^2 counts all genetic variance including dominance and interaction; h^2 counts only the additive part. The seed study's 17% is an additive quantity, so the student has to know which of the two numbers is being quoted before they can compare it to anything from a twin study.
