Camera-Based Indoor Robot Positioning and Controller-Board Co-Design

A low-cost indoor robot navigation system co-designing a custom controller board (dual 6-amp DC motor channels plus a WiFi microcontroller) with an external down-looking-webcam positioning system that maps the robot's image position to real-world coordinates and steers it over WiFi, reaching sub-0.125-meter error far more cheaply than motion-capture rigs.
