Capillary-Tube Dual-Readout Fiber Calorimeter with SiPM Single-Fiber Readout

A highly-granular dual-readout calorimeter in which scintillating and clear (Cherenkov) optical fibers are embedded in a matrix of metal capillary tubes, with individual fibers read out by Silicon Photomultipliers. Event-by-event correction of the electromagnetic fraction of hadron showers, combined with millimeter-scale sampling, targets the ~30%/sqrt(E) hadronic energy resolution required by future collider detectors; realized in the HiDRa demonstrator.
