Charge State Deconvolution

Deconvolution converts a multiply charged m/z envelope into a single zero-charge mass spectrum by assigning n to each peak, most reliably from the isotopic spacing of 1/n Da at high resolution. Errors in charge assignment produce spurious masses at integer multiples or fractions of the true value.
