With client-side rendering the server sends a nearly empty page and the browser builds the content with JavaScript, so Google must queue the page for a second, slower rendering step before it can see content or links. Server-side rendering (or static pre-rendering) sends complete HTML on the first request, so every generated page is readable and its links discoverable immediately.
