Coded-Mask Gamma Camera for Range Verification in Proton Therapy

A coded-mask (coded-aperture) gamma camera, using a structured tungsten collimator and scintillator detector, images the prompt gamma rays emitted along a proton beam path to locate the distal dose falloff in real time.
