Converting a Wired PLC to Wireless Using Paired Bluetooth Transceivers
An engineering design that removes the physical wiring between a PLC and its field devices by inserting a pair of Bluetooth modules as a wireless transceiver link. Each Bluetooth module is interfaced through an Arduino microcontroller board; the two modules handshake and relay the PLC's input/output signals over the air, so field devices can be controlled without wire while preserving the PLC's input-driven output logic. Demonstrates a low-cost retrofit path from wired to wireless industrial control.
