Detecting Acoustic Environment Changes from Room Impulse Response Coherence

A technique for recognizing and quantifying changes in a room's acoustics by evaluating the similarity of consecutively recorded room impulse responses using short-time coherence, together with a sensitivity rating that measures the magnitude of change. It distinguishes causes such as altered surface absorption, atmospheric variation, and human presence from temporal and spectral signal properties.
