Doublet Discrimination

Two cells traversing the laser together produce a pulse with roughly double the area but nearly unchanged height, and a widened width; plotting FSC-A against FSC-H (or FSC-W) puts singlets on a tight diagonal and pushes doublets off it. Skipping this step invents false double-positive populations.
