ECB Brake System Bleeding

Because the ECB actuator sits between the reservoir and the wheels, a Prius cannot be fully bled like a conventional car: a scan tool (Techstream or capable aftermarket) puts the system in invalid/bleed mode so the actuator pump pushes fluid to each circuit in sequence; the fronts can then be finished conventionally. Air left in the actuator means a low pedal and ABS/brake warning lights.
