Electric Dominance in Particle Injection during Relativistic Magnetic Reconnection

A particle-in-cell study of how much early-stage particle energization in relativistic pair-plasma reconnection with vanishing guide field is supplied by regions of electric dominance (E>B). It measures the fractional contribution to acceleration up to the injection threshold, showing this contribution grows with plasma magnetization and particle energy and dominates injection at high magnetization, relevant to compact-object magnetospheres.
