A study of a dissipative chain of three coupled bosonic oscillators driven by a quadratic (two-photon) term, showing that the dynamical matrix of its first moments exhibits an exceptional point where both eigenvalues and eigenvectors coalesce. At the exceptional point the optical emission spectrum splits from a single peak into two peaks whose positions equal the closed-system natural frequencies and depend only on the inter-oscillator coupling. Because the split-peak positions stay fixed beyond the exceptional point, they give a way to estimate the coupling strength between oscillators.
