Factorization of Top-Quark Mass Corrections in Higgs Pair Production Amplitudes
In the high-energy limit of gluon-fusion Higgs-boson pair production (gg->HH), the logarithmic corrections arising from the intermediate top-quark mass follow a predictable factorized pattern derived using the Method of Regions and Soft-Collinear Effective Theory. Resumming the leading-power leading-logarithmic mass corrections lets one reduce the dominant top-quark mass renormalization-scheme uncertainty on the amplitude.
