False Discovery Rate Control with Benjamini-Hochberg
When thousands of hypotheses are tested at once, FDR controls the expected proportion of false positives among the rejections rather than the chance of any false positive. This is far less conservative than family-wise error control and is the standard for genomics-scale testing.
