Flavour Composition of Astrophysical Neutrinos from Event Shapes

… more less By counting tracks, single cascades and double cascades among high-energy events, IceCube estimates how the cosmic flux splits among the three flavours. The result is consistent with roughly equal shares, as expected from distant pion decays plus oscillation.
