Flow Tunneling Between Nanoconfined Liquids via Electronic Excitations

A predicted nanofluidic effect in which the flow of one confined liquid drives the flow of a second liquid across a separating solid wall - impossible in continuum hydrodynamics - mediated by the wall's collective electronic excitations, with a range tunable to a maximum when those excitations resonate with the liquid's charge-density fluctuations.
