Fully Magnetically Controlled van der Waals Multiferroic Tunnel Junction with Giant Multistate Resistance
A first-principles design for a CrBr3/MnPSe3/CrBr3 vdW multiferroic tunnel junction in which spin-driven ferroelectric polarization is reversed by magnetic control alone, avoiding atomic migration. Asymmetric PtTe2 / alkali-metal-doped CrBr3 electrodes yield giant tunneling magneto- and electro-resistance, perfect spin filtering, and record negative-differential-resistance for spintronic memory and logic.
