Glashow Resonance Event at 6.3 PeV
An electron antineutrino with about 6.3 PeV can hit an atomic electron and make a W boson directly, a process predicted by Sheldon Glashow in 1960. In 2016 IceCube recorded a cascade of about this energy, the first sign of this resonance and of cosmic antineutrinos.
