Handling Support Tickets Using the Strategy Pattern in Python

The Strategy design pattern encapsulates a family of interchangeable algorithms behind a common interface, so that a client selects behavior by receiving a strategy and need not contain conditional logic for each variant. It improves cohesion, lets new variants be added without modifying the client (the open/closed principle), and reduces coupling. It belongs to software design patterns (behavioral patterns from the 1995 "Design Patterns" book), and in languages with first-class functions it is often implemented with plain functions.
