High-Voltage Safety for Hybrid Brake Service

A Gen 4 Prius carries a ~200 V (600 V boosted) high-voltage system in orange cabling. Brake work doesn't open HV circuits, but safe practice is to power the car OFF (not READY), keep the smart key away, and never cut or probe orange cables; full HV isolation uses the battery service plug and a waiting period for capacitors to discharge.
