Inferring Big Five Personality Traits from Physiological Signals in Video-Based Learning

A questionnaire-free approach to estimating a learner's Big Five personality traits by recording low-cost physiological signals — heart rate, galvanic skin response, and voice frequency — while they watch instructional video. Students learn how derived signal features such as the variance of heart rate and of GSR and the skewness of voice frequency correlate with personality dimensions like extraversion and conscientiousness, how those correlations might inform adaptive instruction, and the limitations of drawing such conclusions from a small correlational sample.
