Injection-Driven Sideband Dynamics in Spin-Wave Active Ring Oscillators
A spin-wave active ring oscillator (SWARO) uses a magnetic YIG film as a nonlinear, frequency-selective element in a gain feedback loop. This concept covers what happens when such an oscillator is driven by an external RF signal near a magnetostatic-spin-wave dipole gap: the appearance of two sideband families (a fixed-offset type and a drive-frequency-tracking type) generated by three-wave parametric scattering, and the suppression of the nonlinear response together with injection pulling of the spectrum toward the drive as drive power increases.
