Lipid Nanoparticle Delivery of Gene Editors

LNPs made of an ionizable lipid, a helper phospholipid, cholesterol, and a PEG-lipid encapsulate editor mRNA plus guide RNA, are taken up by cells, and release cargo on endosomal acidification. Transient expression and redosability make them the dominant in vivo non-viral route, with strong liver tropism.
