Megapixel qCMOS Single-Photon Imaging of Plant Delayed Luminescence

A high-sensitivity imaging methodology that maps plant delayed luminescence (a form of ultra-weak biophoton emission) in full field at megapixel resolution using a photon-counting quantitative-CMOS camera with pixel binning, revealing species- and stress-specific spatial heterogeneity of reactive-oxygen-species-driven excited-state relaxation and unifying the observations with a two-level quantum rate-equation model.
