MIQE Guidelines

The Minimum Information for Publication of Quantitative Real-Time PCR Experiments specifies what must be reported for a qPCR result to be evaluable: RNA source and integrity, DNase treatment, RT conditions, primer sequences, amplification efficiency and its standard curve, Cq determination method, reference-gene validation, controls, and replicate structure. Its purpose is reproducibility, so the essential items are the ones that let another lab detect an inflated fold change.
