No-Dig Beds Keep Fungal Hyphae and Soil Aggregates Intact Between Crops

Digging shreds mycorrhizal hyphae and breaks aggregates, exposing protected organic matter to fast microbial burn-off. A no-dig bed topped with 2–5 cm of compost each year keeps networks intact, more worms and a crumbly surface.
