O4a Targeted Search for Continuous Gravitational Waves from Known Pulsars

A targeted LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA search of O4a data for continuous gravitational waves from 45 known pulsars, using three coherent pipelines and single- and dual-harmonic emission models. No signal is found; the analysis sets amplitude and neutron-star-ellipticity upper limits that beat the theoretical spin-down limit for 29 pulsars, reaching a best amplitude limit of 6.4e-27 (J0537-6910) and a best ellipticity constraint of 8.8e-9 (J0437-4715).
