Performance Guarantees for Modulo ADC Sampling Under Quantization

Establishes recovery guarantees and mean-squared-error scaling for modulo analog-to-digital converters in the presence of quantization. Within the dithered-quantization framework, an oversampling factor OF>3 and resolution b>3 bits suffice to correctly unfold folded samples (using either a 1-bit folding-information signal or an orthogonal-matching-pursuit algorithm when only folded samples are available), yielding MSE of order O(1/OF^3) versus O(1/OF) for a conventional ADC, with an extension to jointly acquiring weak and strong signals in separate bands.
