Perturbative Crossed-Product Algebras and Generalized Entropy Beyond Subleading Order

An algebraic perturbation theory for the crossed-product von Neumann algebras of observables in QFT and gravity, built from unitary deformations of an original system. Applied to the AdS traversable wormhole as a toy model for black-hole evaporation, it yields new contributions to the generalized entropy beyond subleading order relative to Gao-Jafferis-Wall, and frames black-hole information transfer to Hawking radiation as non-locality appearing in the perturbed modular structure.
