PETG, PLA, and ABS Material Tradeoffs

PETG sits between PLA and ABS: more heat resistance and ductility than PLA, far less warping and no styrene fumes compared to ABS, but softer surfaces, more stringing, and aggressive bed adhesion. Choosing among them is a tradeoff across Tg, toughness, shrinkage, UV resistance, and printability.
