Point Frameshift and Chromosomal Mutation Mechanisms in Genetics
Genetic mutations are heritable alterations in a cell's DNA, classified by the scale at which they act: small-scale mutations change individual nucleotides, while large-scale mutations rearrange segments at the chromosomal level.
