Present Subjunctive of Regular Verbs
Take the ils/elles present-indicative form, drop -ent to get the stem, and add -e, -es, -e, -ions, -iez, -ent: finir → ils finissent → que je finisse. For regular -er verbs four of six forms are spelled like the indicative, so the subjunctive is only audible in verbs like finir and vendre.
