Prius Front Brake Pad and Rotor Replacement

With the actuator disabled and the car on stands: remove the caliper (two slide bolts), hang it without stressing the hose, remove the bracket to free the rotor, clean and lube slides and abutments, install the new rotor on a clean hub, then bracket, pads with shims, and caliper, torquing every fastener. The Gen 4 front uses a single-piston floating caliper, so the whole job hinges on free-moving slide pins.
