Pseudoproline Dipeptides
Ser, Thr and Cys residues are incorporated as oxazolidine or thiazolidine dipeptide building blocks that impose a cis-amide kink, disrupting beta-sheet formation; the native residue is regenerated during TFA cleavage. Placing one every six to eight residues is the single most effective fix for aggregating sequences.
