Pseudorandom Quantum Authentication from Pseudorandom Unitaries

An efficient quantum-state encryption and authentication scheme (PQAS) whose security relies only on pseudorandom unitaries, making ciphertext states QPT-indistinguishable from the maximally mixed state, allowing tamper verification and unit-fidelity recovery with polylogarithmic depth and a single shared key, and yielding primitives such as verifiable pseudorandom density matrices under assumptions weaker than one-way functions.
