Quadrant Gate

Two crossed lines splitting a bivariate plot into four populations; it is only valid when both negative populations are well resolved and the cross is placed by a control. Continuous or diagonally smeared populations require polygon gates instead, because a quadrant forces an arbitrary split through a real distribution.
