Quality of Life versus Perceived Care Quality in Advanced Chronic Kidney Disease

A cross-sectional nursing study finding that health-related quality of life (measured by KDQOL-36) and patients' perception of the quality of care received (measured by IECPAX) are statistically independent dimensions in advanced chronic kidney disease patients, with medication burden and age influencing perceived care but no correlation between the two constructs.
