Reactor Antineutrino Spectrum and Flux Measurement

The experimental determination of the energy spectrum and absolute rate (flux) of electron antineutrinos emitted by nuclear reactors, typically expressed as an inverse-beta-decay yield per fission and resolved by fissile isotope. These measurements test conversion and summation predictions of the reactor antineutrino source and supply data-driven inputs for precision neutrino-oscillation experiments.
