Real-Time Vision-Correcting Display via Luma-Channel Inverse Blurring in Computational Imaging

A vision-correcting display renders a pre-distorted image so a viewer with refractive error sees it sharply without corrective lenses, by deconvolving each frame with the point spread function of the viewer's eye. The technique becomes real-time by deconvolving only the luma channel in YUV color space, tiling the image to reduce Fast Fourier Transform cost, masking edges to suppress ringing artefacts, and warping the PSF with a face-tracked perspective transform so correction holds as the viewer's angle and distance change.
