Securing Wireless Sensor Networks by Integration with a Cloud ITSM Platform
A security architecture in which a resource-constrained wireless sensor network offloads its security management to a cloud IT service-management platform. Because sensor nodes are too limited in battery, memory and processing to run conventional on-node defenses, WSN analytics are passed up to the cloud, whose existing security standards and service-desk workflows detect and impede attacks (especially Denial-of-Service) and handle the management layer the nodes cannot.
