Shadow of Quantum-Corrected Kerr Black Hole in Effective Loop Quantum Gravity

A rotating black-hole solution whose Schwarzschild-limit quantum correction comes from a loop-quantum-gravity bouncing-collapse model, and the analysis of its photon region and shadow. A theorem locates the unstable circular null orbits for these Kerr-like metrics, the shadow is shown to shrink relative to classical Kerr, and the quantum-correction parameter is constrained against Event Horizon Telescope observations of M87* and Sgr A*, including the effect of an inhomogeneous plasma.
