Stringing and Retraction Tuning for PETG

PETG's low melt strength and tackiness make it ooze during travel, so stringing is fought with modest retraction distance (0.5-1 mm direct drive, 3-6 mm Bowden), higher retraction speed, slightly lower nozzle temperature, and travel tricks like wiping, coasting, and avoiding crossing perimeters. Excessive retraction distance causes jams and blobs instead of fixing strings.
