TEE-Assisted Asynchronous DAG-Based Byzantine Fault-Tolerant Consensus

Fides places four consensus primitives (reliable broadcast, vertex validation, common coin, transaction disclosure) inside Trusted Execution Environments so that a DAG-based BFT protocol can tolerate Byzantine replicas with a smaller quorum, linear message complexity, a lightweight common coin, and guaranteed censorship resilience in fully asynchronous networks, while keeping the trusted computing base minimal.
