Tendermint Consensus
A blockchain-oriented BFT protocol (the engine behind Cosmos/CometBFT) that rotates the proposer every height and runs propose/prevote/precommit rounds with 2f+1 (two-thirds of voting power) thresholds, locking validators on values they precommit to preserve safety across rounds. It gives immediate deterministic finality — no forks, no probabilistic confirmation — under partial synchrony.
