Tiled Feedback Parallelization of Hogbom CLEAN Deconvolution in Radio Interferometry

A distributed version of the serial CLEAN deconvolution algorithm that splits a radio interferometric image into tiles deconvolved in parallel, with a periodic feedback step that shares bright-source information across tile boundaries. A student learns how to parallelize an inherently sequential matching-pursuit algorithm while preserving reconstruction accuracy.
