A correspondence showing that a three-dimensional N=4 superconformal field theory which is self-mirror symmetric flows under a universal mass deformation to a time-reversal invariant topological quantum field theory. In the Abelian case the ultraviolet theory is encoded by a charge matrix Q and the infrared theory is an Abelian Chern-Simons theory with level matrix K = Q Q-transpose; the construction yields charge-matrix constraints for self-mirror symmetry, a general superconformal-index formula, and a real 'Gauss generating function' diagnosing time-reversal invariance.
